Ashiyuki Gigado was a printmaker of the Osaka school and a prolific producer of Kabuki prints. As a member of the Osaka School he introduced some new techniques in Osaka prints. One of the new techniques he probably was the first to use, was the application of gofun, a white powder. ---artelino.com
