(Japanese printmaker, 1777 - 1835)
Japanese, (1777–1835)
Toyokuni worked as a pottery dealer. He was the son-in-law of Toyokuni Utagawa whose name he took after the death of his master in 1825. However he got into some trouble with other colleagues for the use of that name. So, in his later years, he called himself back to Toyoshige.
