Japanese, (1908–2009)
Gyokusei Tsukioka is the daughter of Kogyo Tsukioka. She graduated in 1929 from Women's Specialist School of Fine Art. Like her father, she specialized in depictions of Noh Theater scenes. Sometimes she used the artist name Kobun. Before the outbreak of world war II she had published ca. 30 prints with the publisher Watanabe Shozaburo. --artelin.com
