T.L. Solien is master of a lively cast of personal symbols which cavort across the artist’s canvases and paper fields. His quirky figures play out dramas related to Solien’s personal and artistic life. A Midwesterner with roots in North Dakota and Minnesota, this artist has taught at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, since 1997. This dynamic lithograph, drawn and designed by Solien, was published by Vermillion Editions, a fine art printing shop operated by master printer Steven Andersen in Minneapolis between 1977 and 1992.
